The new ship will be built by AVIC Weihai shipyard for ship owner Stena RoRo, and will be operated by Stena Line in northern Europe after delivery.

It is reported that WE Tech's proposal will make this new ship sail without the use of auxiliary equipment can obtain all required power. The company's 2 sets of 2600 kW shaft generator and frequency conversion drive WE DriveTM together, will power out (PTO) mode to provide power on the shipboard power grid. The program will also use DC connection for bow thruster distribution.
